I take care to package my fine art prints appropriately to ensure that they arrive in the same condition that they left my art studio. My giclée art prints are packaged in a sturdy tube mailer for the larger prints and a flat mailer for the 5×7 prints with a piece of cardboard or mat board in the envelope for extra protection.

Glicée fine art prints are a high quality reproduction of original artwork. The paintings are photographed at high resolution, taking care to capture the exact color of the original artwork, and printed on large format printers.

Giclée (pronounced “zhee-clays”) is a French term that means “to spray”, referring to how an inkjet printer works. But not all inkjet printers can produce giclée prints. To produce a giclée print, the original art is first captured in high resolution (atleast 300 DPI, “dots per inch,” while most digital photos are 72 DPI). The more dots of color that are printed in a small area, the more detailed the final image will appear. Printed on archival art paper with museum quality pigmented inks, large format inkjet printers (often holding up to 12 ink cartridges to produce a wider range of colors) use small spraying devices that match color and apply ink precisely.
